The MC is an integral part of a formal wedding reception
The responsibilities of the master of ceremonies are varied and will depend on the formality and type of wedding as well as the preferences of the bride and groom. It is our honor for us to conduct the role of “master of ceremony” at wedding receptions and we always do a fantastic job! ..Here is what we do:
* Introduce the parents, bridal party, and the bride & groom into the room
* Introduce everyone that will be giving a speeches/toasts/prayers
* Announce the cutting of the cake
* Announce the first dance, father/daughter, and mom/son dances
* Announce the tossing of the bouquet & garter
* Announce any special birthdays or anniversaries
* Announce any after parties
The most challenging part for our MC, is organizing and lining up the bridal party for introductions into the room. We briefly run through the pronunciation of their names and make sure they are in the correct order. We also go through any last-minute name changes. Basically, we will keep the wedding reception running smoothly and announce all events.
